Our History

Scouts BSA • Chartered 2019

Troop 19 was chartered in February 2019 by American Legion Post 455, when girls were allowed to join Scouts BSA units. Our troop number commemorates women earning the right to vote in the 19th Amendment and the year we were founded, and also shows our connection to Troop 9.

While our troop is new, our scouts have accomplished so much, from lashing catapults to backpacking trips, to attending National Jamboree and sailing from Sea Base.

Uniform Shopping List

For parades, court of honor, and formal events we wear a Class A uniform. For meetings, service projects, and camp we wear troop shirts and green pants, called a Class B uniform.
